250 orders, whey!!!
Hi all!
I started this side business in February 2026 and I didn't realise how quickly it would take off! Even though I am not scouring the internet minute by minute, hour by hour to get as much stock as possible, as my full time job and being a dad stops that, I still appreciate it that people come to buy from me, despite the fact I am pretty small in a huge competitive market of retro gaming!
I have mainly focused on Mega Drive games as it was the console I grew up on and something I am pretty passionate about. The innovation, add-ons and the cool tech I still find out about from time to time has kept me going (I will be getting a nomad soon from Oleg Endo directly!).
It's nice to have an active online shop where i've had over 1000 games come and go and I'm lucky enough I get to play some of them (although with a 3 year old, it's pretty tricky to be honest!)
Speaking of my 3 year old son, he absolutely loves going to my local post office with me daily to post the orders. He puts some of them in his bike front pocket and gets super excited when we go down there. Every morning he comes into my office and goes 'Games?' (meaning orders). I even wait for him after he finishes nursery to ship them so he can do it with me!
My guilty pleasure is getting in from Football on a Wednesday night, around 10pm, eating a bowl of pasta with cheese, watching Sega Myths & the history of the Mega Drive on YouTube 😅
